RTV Season 11 - Week 4

Postby klok » Wed 27 Mar, 2013 10:27

Welcome one and all to your weekly RTV Season 11 Round up of the Black Ops 2 tournament.

We’re at that stage now when its no longer about who’s playing whom and when but more about how results in all of the matches could affect the final results – a bit like the last stages of the Champions league group element.

But before we start, I’d like to bid a fond farewell to one of the oldest clans in edom – UT – the Urban Tigers. After many years the clan is no more due to the rise of “console COD” along with players growing up (or in is case even older!). Well all the best to you guys wherever you go.

Right on with the action…..

Premier League

In the Premier League we have it nicely poised with DGZ and DSK sitting undefeated at the top of the table. This week DGZ play their second team #DGZ which will be live streamed and looks like it could well be a cracking match. DSK1 have an easier match (if there can be one in this division) against Squark who have yet to register a win yet but there’s always the chance of an upset here.

If #DGZ can beat the 1st team then it throws open the division here and potentially lets KK back into the fight for the top spot and that could mean that the final match week between KK and DGZ could decide the title – perhaps even throw it over to DSK1.

Oh the possibilities are endless (well theres about 4!)

And at the bottom of the division you have Digital fighting against Squark at the last meeting of the league which means that the wooden spoon could well be decided at the very death of the title. This week Digital play impact and I’d expect the Germans to give them a good kicking now whilst Squark have it all to do against DSK1

First Division

POW have continued their march towards the title here and beat FRAG 14-10 thus maintaining their 100% record in the division and making themselves favorites to take the title here however the three just below them are sat right on their heels with 9 points to TC NIB and UNDF and with POW still to play TC and N1B they still have it all to do as a slip up against either of them will allow someone else to slip into the title race, however POW have a clear lead on round difference at this stage of 18 points so this could prove vital right at the end here – next week will make it clearer or muddier!

Just as its tight at the top its tight at the bottom – insert rude thoughts here – with Horna MB Frag and PIC fighting to avoid taking home the wooden spoon. At the moment Horna are the favorites as they sit at the bottom with a massive ZERO at the moment – with NIB and TC still to play and just FRAG its looking increasingly likely that they will grab that uncoveted prize!

Well time will tell!

Second Division

3 only 2 points currently separating the top three clans – DSK2, 8th and KK*3 the last few weeks could be critical. 8th have played a game more than the other two so at the moment the momentum is very much with DSK2 and KK*3. This makes this weeks line up match between KK*3 and DSK2 all the more exciting and interesting – anything but a win for KK*3 would in essence hand DSK2 the title as DSK undeniably have the easier run in with only GSpot and KK*2 left to play whereas KK*3 have RA and TSR to go. Having said that a draw could reopen the door for 8Th to sneak in having already played both their other two challengers. By the time the next report is out we’ll have an update on what it looks like – at the moment I think that the position of strength is all with DSK2 and KK*3 have it all to do.

At the bottom of the division you have GSpot and TG fighting for the wooden spoon and it might go to the final week where TG play G-Spot – anything but a win for G-Spot will give them the wooden spoon as TG already have a draw from their earlier match against TSR.

So all that remains is to say as always, Fight hard, play fair but most of all HAVE FUN!
